A BIT ABOUT ME:​

I have been skiing since I could walk, it really isn’t obvious since I lack technique, but we all know the most important skill (Allez Allez Apres!)​

My two favourite things are skiing and people (especially steezy individuals such as yourselves) so putting the two together by becoming a Snowrider has been a treat, so good I simply want more! I’ve made the best friendships and memories since being in the society and have been supported by the best bunch of committee members. I will do my best to follow in their big ski boots!​

I am super bubbly, friendly, slightly mad and despite my volume breaking the sound barrier I can be serious when need be. That being said, when it needs to be sent, I send it. There is no such thing as too much. I’ve spent a lot of my time out and about experiencing different events at different venues in Leeds and believe my knowledge of a good night is more than satisfactory

WHAT WILL I DO?​

First of all, we love a boogie, but sadly it seems to have a price. I would hate for anyone to miss out on socials due to limited dingos, so I will attempt to make a safe sanctuary for grooving (my house), working with local Leeds DJ's to show them what we're made of and let them send it on the decs. House parties are a great way to meet people and see one another without having to remortgage because you've paid for entry or a ticket and I want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe at socials! Don’t fret, our ties with old red will never be cut and there will be lots of bus station shenanigans on the cards. ​


I also want us to get more stuck in by having an official pres before every social or event where everyone can interact with one another and take part in various very PG and appropriate games to break the ice (excuse the pun). I think socials should be as inclusive as possible and get everyone involved regardless of skiing ability, the more the merrier as they say.​


After each event or social, I want to create some sort of feedback form so you guys can comment on what you liked and what you'd like to see more of, so we can include everyone's preferences and have something for everyone!​


As a professional at mingling, I put my skills to good use and at events such as Kings and After Jam I have befriended other unis far and wide and I will use this to hold multiple collaborative socials with fellow slope slayers! This doesn’t count as fraternising with the enemy…did someone say field trip? Lastly, here are some of my ideas for socials. I really want to make socials more fun by creating themes each week. Reversed role wedding (gals suited and booted , lads raid your nans wardrobe) ski gear, animals (you have to make the noise of your animal before speaking), handcuffed to another person (great icebreaker) and many more!!! I won’t let you down :)
