Having served as President of Access to Medicine this year, I would love the opportunity to continue supporting the society as Vice President for the upcoming academic year.

Over the past year, I have dedicated significant time and effort into expanding the society’s outreach, inclusivity, and impact, contributing to one of our most successful years to date - including British Diversity Award nominations, winning Most Inclusive Society at the Worsley Awards, increasing MMI engagement, and expanding our webinar and mock OSCE initiatives.

Throughout my time as President, I have been consistently appraised for my work ethic, leadership, communication, and organisational skills. I have worked closely with committee members, external organisations, and students to ensure the society runs effectively while maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment.

As Vice President, I hope to use my experience to provide mentorship and continuity for the incoming President and wider committee. Having already navigated the logistical and operational aspects of the society, I believe I can offer valuable support behind the scenes to help future initiatives run smoothly and sustainably. I am particularly excited about further developing the society from a logistical standpoint, strengthening committee structure, improving long-term planning, and continuing to expand opportunities for widening participation students.

Access to Medicine is a society I care deeply about, and I would love the chance to continue contributing to its growth and success next year.
