After a successful year as Vice President, I am now applying to for LMD President. This year I have helped recruit new members, organised GIAG sessions, and ordered the club's first lot of basketball jerseys! Most importantly, I now have a 3 second highlight reel from the one game we played this year...

If I am elected, I would like to grow the club as much as possible. I will invest lots of time into recruitment at the start of the year, then ensure training sessions are regular and fun to take part in. This will hopefully build a solid group of regular members next year. I am also very keen to get us playing more organised matches against local teams (in the Leeds League) and against other university teams / medical schools. I believe that teamwork is built both on and off the court, so I will make sure there are plenty of fun socials for all of us to unwind at.

Overall, I want to maintain LMD's fun and inclusive environment throughout my Presidency, whilst also inspiring the next generation of LMD ballers to run the club in years to come.

If my Presidency is going to be anything like my mid-range game, then LMD is in for a prosperous year indeed.
