Dear members of Sexpression,
In a prestigious institution such as the University of Leeds, Sex, Relationship and Health Education is viewed as a fundamental right, essential for promoting health and well-being. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that access to comprehensive SRHE, for the majority of people, is a privilege rather than a right.
Sexpression, since the year 2000, has been passionately working towards making in-depth SRHE accessible to young people and I am excited to be a dedicated advocate for the same.

As a student, who entered university with not much access to proper SRHE, especially through the right channels of trained professionals, sexpression presented exposure to a wide-array of topics from contraceptives, abusive relationships, consent, to puberty, sexual orientation, gender identity and many more.
As president, my primary goal would be for this same exposure, the privilege or SRHE, to reach a bigger and more diverse audience. Having been the cultural secretary at school, problem solving and building positive relationships with other students and authority come naturally to me. Working closely with other committee members, harnessing our collective strengths and driving our shared mission forward is what will make a long lasting impact in the lives of the people we strive to help.

I am eager to listen, learn, and grow in this role. Your feedback and ideas will be invaluable to the society's journey. By voting for me you will, along with the committee, build upon the strong foundation of Sexpression Leeds and work towards continued growth, higher reach and impact.
