Hey Guys,

This last year as Vice-President and one of the founders of LUUPRASS has been so much fun, it has taken a lot of liaising with LUU and the committee to organise the GIAG virtual event and become an official society. I am very proud of what we achieved, as well as being nominated for best GIAG at the Worsleys! Hopefully, I can continue to be a part of this amazing committee as your president.

Having been on the committee this year I have learnt so much, for example, all the many forms and documents needed by the LUU. I have also been the treasurer for CFR this last year, which has helped me massively understand the general runnings of the society from a different position. As treasurer, I secured £2500+ from the union to fund a weekend trip away and lots of training equipment.

For the next year, I am excited to see the society grow. I am currently intercalating in a Master of anatomy and education so I would love to see the society host a revision series for 1st/2nd year anatomy, as well as 3rd year surgical core conditions. Other ideas I have are creating a journal club, running talks on how to get the most points in your core training application as well as hopefully securing funds for running surgical skills workshops.
