With an incredibly rich knowledge of what a career as a barrister entails, I believe I would be a president that is able to deliver opportunities and support to you, to further your prospects of being successful in pursing a career at the bar.

I have links with multiple chambers, I have had a mini pupillage with a QC and I have a passion for the bar, evidenced by my wealth of experience and engagement with the profession.

If president, I would endeavour to ensure that we, as Bar Soc, continue to have excellent opportunities to:
-network with barristers,
-develop skills which are crucial to a career at the bar and
-develop our legal CVs.

Having been committed to a career at the bar from a young age, I've made connections and gained knowledge on what is needed to secure a career at the bar, which I hope to put to good use as BarSoc President. Over the years I've mastered the arts of time management, organisation and working under pressure, having competed for Leeds cheerleading and dance societies this year alongside mooting, and having had a part-time job from age 16 until last year. I know securing a career at the bar can seem overwhelming, but want to make it seem less daunting and achievable for everyone. I hope to make BarSoc a welcoming, aspiring, and supportive community for the aspiring barristers of Leeds 22/23!
My visions for the society include expanding opportunities through networking and panel events, as well as workshops, trips and other experiences. I hope to increase attention to wellbeing, accessibility and diversity, and would like to offer the opportunity for feedback, so the society and its events can be tailored to you and your career.
