Hola everyone! I am Erin, your current Social Secretary and I will be running for President!

From the moment I joined the Salsa Society in my first year, I was welcomed with open arms into a vibrant, diverse, and supportive community. That warmth and inclusivity helped me find some of my closest friendships, and it's exactly the kind of environment I want to preserve and grow as your next president. Salsa Society is more than just a dance group—it's a family. And I’m deeply passionate about continuing to uphold the values that make it so special: openness, diversity, fun, and education.

I absolutely love salsa and bachata dancing, and it's been a huge part of my university experience. Being your Social Secretary last year gave me a front-row seat to the amazing impact this society has on its members. I’ve had the chance to work behind the scenes, learning how the society functions, planning events, and building community. That experience, along with my natural sense of organisation and punctuality, means you can feel confident in my ability to lead with energy, structure, and care.

If elected, I aim to open our arms even wider, welcoming even more new members into the Salsa family. I want to expand our reach, celebrating the rich cultural roots and diversity of salsa while continuing to provide the educational, fun, and engaging classes that we all love. Whether you're an experienced dancer or stepping into the studio for the first time, I want everyone to feel seen, included, and inspired.
