Hi! My name is Jungmin and I’m a third year medical student. I’d love to be Vice President of EndoSoc, as I am considering intercalating in an endocrinology-related degree next year, and I am keen to provide new learning opportunities for other students.
Last year, I was able to gain experience in a leadership role as President of Korean Society, which I absolutely loved - I organised and managed social events and also chaired several committee meetings in addition to participating in decision making and resolving any disputes.
As Vice President of EndoSoc, I am confident that I will be able to assist the committee to ensure a smooth running of the society and will help to continue organising webinars with endocrinologists, which have all been very insightful.
I look forward to working with the committee in the future!

Hello!  I’m Ted and I’m a 3rd year medical student. I would love to be Vice President of EndoSoc as I am hugely passionate about Endocrinology and Immunology. A position on the committee would allow me to spread the significance and awareness of this often neglected area of medicine.
What can I add to the committee? I would be new to the society this year however, being involved in different societies in my previous years gives me a unique perspective on how to grow and share education about endocrinology. 
I have experience on a large university committee, as I currently oversee sponsorship for the university rugby team. From this, I have learnt invaluable skills about communication working in close liaison with local businesses and professionals, task prioritization and solving issues directly with the university which have resulted in over £1.5k worth of funds based on player and social media sponsorships alone. I am sure these are transferable skills which could benefit EndoSoc.
As we all know, Leeds Teaching Hospitals is a leading provider of endocrine care in the north and is home to endocrine labs, surgery and even a specialist paediatric endocrine care team. Exploring the possibility of observing and hearing talks from members of these teams would be incredibly beneficial for members learning and career progression especially as this is such a competitive speciality. As vice president, I would be able to play a large role in making these opportunities accessible to people interested.
I also think the members could benefit from specialised revision sessions like PALS, with the sessions based purely on endocrine and allied subjects. An easy way of growing smaller societies in collaboration with other committees which is something I would plan on suggesting. These could be smaller café events for socialising and checking in on people.

Hello everyone! I’m Prakruti and as a third year medical student, I have gained an interest in endocrinology and wish to enhance the appeal of the speciality. I would like to be the Vice President as I wish to bring a fun twist to endocrinology through exciting events and make the speciality gain publicity. I am also running for Vice President as I would also like to be involved in a society which can spread holistic knowledge about conditions that can affect the entire human body to future doctors.

Previously, I have held a position in Public Relations as well as a year representative for two years at school. I have also hosted two annual school science fairs equipping me with organisational skills that may be needed to host conferences for EndoSoc.

I am also a member of the Oncology Society this year and want to bring a new viewpoint into endocrinology to make it truly interdisciplinary. I hope to bring many others who are also interested in endocrinology and execute great ideas together. For the upcoming academic year, I wish to play a role in the drive to make endocrinology a topic of interest amongst the student body!

I am excited to put myself forward for the role of Vice President of the Leeds Endocrinology Society. With a passion for both leadership and healthcare, I believe I have the skills and vision to help steer the society to new heights, ensuring our events and initiatives are well-organised, engaging, and impactful.

As someone with strong organisational abilities, I have had the privilege of leading a national volunteer campaign at a London hospital, where I coordinated everything from logistics to photography and actors. This experience taught me how to juggle multiple responsibilities, manage tight schedules, and work efficiently within a team, skills that I am confident would be invaluable in helping the Leeds Endocrinology Society run smoothly.

Currently, I am also part of the Leeds Access to Medicine Society, and I see an exciting opportunity to collaborate between societies. I would love to organise events where we invite school students interested in medicine to attend informative talks from leading endocrinologists. This would not only raise awareness of endocrinology but also inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
