Hi, my name is pippa and i am currently second year studying business management,i loved being on the commitee this year working as a social secretary alongside daisy and the rest of the amazing committee and would LOVE to be on the commitee again next year. i am a warm,friendly face who will be completely open to any queries andissues any members are facing and do my very best to ensure each individuals university experience is the very best!!! from my own experiences of bottling up anxiety and worry i have learnt that a problem shared is a problem halfed therefore i would love the oppurtunity to ensure welfare of LUBS members through spreading awareness,encouraging open conversations and creating a supportive environment in LUBS as well as working closely with the committee to ensure all members feel included and cared for. i am passionate about making a positive difference and would be fully committed to supporting the wellbeing of all members. I would be honoured to take on the role of welfare officer.

Hi, I’m Amy Cartland, a first-year Business Management student. I’m applying for the roles of Social Secretary and Welfare & Diversity Secretary. Being a member of LUBS has been amazing—I’ve made so many friends and unforgettable memories through LUBS socials and experiences, like the Barcelona trip. For me, the social side is the best part of university— making new friends and memories. I want to bring a mix of socials that keep things fresh, exciting, and never boring. My aim is to make LUBS socials unforgettable and inclusive for everyone. I want to help people make the most of their time at university, build connections within business, and create memories that last a lifetime.
