Hiya, I’m Ella and would love to be the next Design and Merchandising Sec for LUBS 2026/2027.

I am currently a 1st year Fashion Marketing student with a passion for creating on-trend content and designing merch that people actually want to wear at Uni. With 2 years experience of running social media accounts professionally, I’ve developed a strong eye for visual storytelling, brand consistency, and what truly grabs attention online.

I’m running for Design & Merchandising Secretary because I want to bring fresh, stylish and wearable ideas to our society, and merch you be happy to throw on for lectures and uni. I care deeply about aesthetics, current trends, and creating designs that reflect who we are as a community.

Anyone who knows me knows I love a good night out, and I always put thought into my outfits. From Bobby’s disco fits to Wednesday socials costumes to planning freshers revenge theme and dress code. I’d bring the same taste and creativity into every design and merch I help create, as well as with decorating the LUBS ball.

If elected, I’ll make sure our branding stays stylish, our merch stays wearable and our members always look their best.

Hi, I'm Mary, and I'm thrilled to be running for LUBS's Design & Merchandising Secretary. I'm a business management student currently studying abroad at the University of Minnesota.

I'm really passionate about fashion, design, and branding, and I enjoy using visuals to make concepts come to life. I've developed a creative mindset and good organizational skills during my time at university, and I enjoy working on projects that blend structure and creativity. I like going to the gym, shopping, being part of the modern dance society, making new friends, and getting involved with student life.

I'm running for this position because I want to boost LUBS's reputation and make sure that everything we create, including products, social media content, and event advertising, feels fashionable, well-coordinated, and of the highest quality. Strong design, in my opinion, really influences how a society is viewed, and I want LUBS to stand out both on campus and online.

If elected, I want to build a recognizable and consistent brand across all channels and provide fashionable wearable products that members actually want. In addition to providing fresh concepts like limited-edition merchandise drops, partnerships with other societies, and chances for members to participate through competitions and design input, my main focus would be creating visually appealing promotional content for events.

Overall, I want to make sure that LUBS looks and feels like a community that people are pleased to be a part of, in addition to providing fantastic events and opportunities.

Hi i’m Charlotte and i’m running for design and merchandising sec 2026/2027. I would be a great fit for this role as I have combination of hands-on industry experience, creativity, and a genuine passion for social media, marketing and merchandising!

During my placement at Pernod Ricard (owner of Absolut, Malibu, Jameson and many more!) I’ve developed skills in graphic design, content creation, event decorating and merch design while working on global brands accounts (300k+ followers) and high-profile partnerships with Ferrari F1 and Arsenal FC!

This amazing opportunity has given me a great understanding of what drives engagement, the importance of staying on top of trends and how to create socials content tailored to a wide range of audiences which will help drive social attendance, increase new members and generate growth on our platforms!

I have also worked with the team behind Ferrari F1’s merch, seeing first hand how high quality, cohesive and fashionable designs are made and produced.

I’d love to apply my hands-on industry experience and creativity to produce engaging social media posts, amazingly curated and decorated events to increase engagement, attract new members and drive up social attendance while creating high quality, affordable and fashionable merch that people will actually want to wear.
