Joining LUBS netball brought me a great group of friends and a real sense of community. I’ve loved being part of a team, getting involved, and enjoying all the socials — and I want to keep that friendly, welcoming vibe going for everyone.

I’ve also taken part in LUBS activities like darts and crazy golf, and I’m keen to organise and promote more fun group activities and make the most of what Leeds has to offer, so everyone feels included and part of something.

Hey, I’m Naomi and I would love to be the new Marketing and Social Media Secretary for LUBS 2026/2027!!

I’m extremely passionate about marketing and digital media, and I’m excited by the opportunity to bring fresh and creative ideas to the role. With experience in both marketing and event management, I understand how to create engaging content and promote events in a way that attracts attention and encourages participation. I’m organised, driven and love working as part of a team.

As a second-year Business Management with Marketing student, I’m building both the academic knowledge and practical skills needed for this role. Outside of my studies, I’m actively involved in a dance society, so I know how important it is to build a strong, fun community, and how social media plays a huge part in that. I also genuinely enjoy creating online content and keeping up with trends, which means I’d bring both enthusiasm and insight to the position.

If elected, my aim would be to increase the visibility of LUBS Society, attract new members, and boost engagement across all events. I want to ensure that our social media reflects the energy of the society and encourages more people to get involved.

Hi, I'm Freddie and I would love to have the opportunity of being the Marketing and Social Media Secretary for LUBS. I am a 1st year studying Business Management with Marketing with a passion for creative and digital marketing.

I'm running for Marketing and Social Media Secretary as I love the LUBS society and community, and want to help establish a strong and purposeful online presence for LUBS, ensuring that all members of the society are aware of the constant opportunities available. I also want to build upon my marketing and social media skills that I have learnt from previous experiences.

I am currently working on an online project for COPA90, a London-based football media business and content agency with over 1.3 million followers on Instagram. This experience has allowed me to learn the importance of unique advertising and marketing strategy in a fast-paced environment, skills I can directly apply whilst in role. I also have previous experience of managing the social media marketing of a local business which taught me the basic skills of the role.

My aims in the role are to create consistent, high quality and engaging content that can build upon the LUBS community and attract new members. I also look to keep LUBS content relevant by following new trends and developing a consistent social media strategy.

As a member of LUBS football, I can appreciate that quality socials are the best way to bring people together, and as a result need to be advertised effectively to maximise attendance and excite LUBS members.

Hiya, I’m Ella and would love to be the next Marketing and Social Media Secretary for LUBS 2026/2027.

I am a 1st year Fashion Marketing student with a strong passion for digital marketing, creative content, and building connections.

I’m running for Marketing & Social Media Secretary because I want to help elevate LUBS’ online presence while creating meaningful opportunities for our members.

I have three years of experience creating social media content professionally, which taught me how powerful strong promotion and engagement can be. I understand what performs well online, how to communicate a brand’s identity, and how to create content that feels current, exciting, and relevant to students.

Beyond content creation, I’m keen to connect LUBS with other universities’ business schools and local businesses, helping to open doors for collaborations, events, and career-focused opportunities for our members. I believe social media should be more than just promotion—it should be a tool for networking, growth, and community-building.

I also love a good night out, so I know how important it is to market events in a way that genuinely excites people and drives turnout. As well perhaps create a LUBS TikTok page for all members to post on for our socials and events. If elected, I’ll bring creativity, consistency, and enthusiasm to the role, ensuring LUBS stays visible, engaging, and well-connected.
