Hello everyone! My name is Aimee Evans, and I’m a Business Management and the Human Resource undergraduate here at the University of Leeds. With three years of supervisory experience and my current role as a Student Course Representative, I’ve gained valuable leadership and communication skills that I am eager to bring to the role of Events Head.

I am incredibly passionate about the HRM Society and its potential to create informative and meaningful experiences that benefit every student. My vision for the society is to grow our networking opportunities, expand our professional development resources, and develop a community where all members feel connected, engaged, and supported.

What I will bring to the society:
-Building Stronger Connections: I’ll grow networking opportunities by connecting you with HR professionals, alumni, and experts through career-focused events like workshops, panels, and mentorship programs.
-Creating Engaging, Inclusive Events: I’m committed to organizing events that cater to all interests, from career-building socials to workshops and casual meet-ups, ensuring you all feel included.
-Gathering students feedback: Through my Student Rep experience, I’ll make sure your feedback drives our events in order to meet your needs and interests.

I deeply care about the HRM Society and want to help grow its influence, expand opportunities for everyone, and create unforgettable events that not only look great on your CV but also provide lifelong memories and connections.
