Hi guys! My name is Andrew Lee and I am currently a year 1 student at the University of Leeds studying Business Management. Im 22 years old and I am running for the Vice President position. The reason I am running is so that I can implement some of the new ideas I have and work with the committee members to provide a fun, enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

While I was in JC, I was part of the Rugby Team, was a Sports Leader for Albert House and was the OSLP Team Leader for our trip to Thailand. Over the past couple of years, I have learnt so much and gained so much experience in teams which can help me perform my best for this role.

If elected I would like to introduce new events, like go-karting, trivia/game show nights and games in the park which could help people meet up more often and make new friends.

Furthermore, I would be trying to increase the number of events planned as well. Not every event will be huge but even the small events we have will be enjoyable.

Lastly, I will be trying to create some merchandise, such as hoodies or jumpers, which will give members a tangible memory from their Uni experience.

Hi guys, I am Sarah and I am studying Zoology. My aim as VP is to share the work load with the President and assist in organizing events. As someone who has moved between countries, I understand that settling down in a new place can be extremely intimidating and being included in a community is very important. I would like to have everyone involved and help freshers settle down in Leeds! I plan on organizing events that not only welcome new students, but to also allow current members to get to know one another better.
