I am Kinjal Kothari, a first year undergraduate student studying Fashion Marketing here at the University of Leeds! I am from from India but grew up in Hong Kong. I am an individual who is creative, responsible, and quite optimistic! I believe having the chance to become the Fashion Societies Social Secretary will not only give me the chance to explore and organise new fun events, but also give me the chance to gain experience from a new position. Studying a fashion related degree, this position can help me organise an event that targets the fashionistas of Leeds and arrange outgoing events! I believe I am quite the team player and will enjoy spending time with people who share the same interests!! I would look into researching new venues and areas to hold events and will raise awareness about this society when given the chance. Hey I'm Becky and I'm really interested in being the social secretary as I love planning events and things to do as I prefer not being just sat inside. I love the company of others, so recognise it is important to have someone fill this role that wants to actively make events for everyone to come to that aren't too expensive.
