Apologies for nominating myself so late😓


I believe I am a strong candidate for the communications secretary role because I am organised, creative, and confident in managing communication and social media in a way that keeps people engaged and informed. I have a good understanding of how platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook can be used effectively to promote events and build a strong, active community.

I am comfortable managing communications between members, prospective guests, and the wider public, ensuring messages are clear, timely, and engaging. I would make sure the society maintains a consistent and approachable online presence so that both current and new members feel informed and encouraged to get involved.

I also enjoy creating visual content, including posters, adverts, and infographics, to promote classes and events in an eye-catching and professional way. I would focus on making content that reflects the energy and inclusivity of the society.

In addition, I would ensure regular updates are posted, including weekly recaps of class content and reminders before sessions, so members stay engaged and know what to expect. My aim is to make the society’s online presence more active, organised, and appealing, helping to grow and strengthen the community.
