My names Alexandra and I’m a first-year medical student.

I’ve really enjoyed being involved in the society this year, especially competing in matches and getting to know other members. Through this, I’ve seen how important a welcoming and well-organised environment is for both experienced players and people who are newer to chess.

As Vice Captain, I’d aim to help maintain a strong competitive presence while also encouraging wider participation across the society. I’m reliable, committed, and enthusiastic about contributing to the continued growth of the club, whether that’s through competitions, events, or supporting members during the year.
