As the Treasurer of the Debating Union, you are responsible to:

- Run the society's finances

- Ensure membership fees are collected and expenses are paid (eg. Competition expenses)

- Work with the Union to apply for grants

- Ensure that events can run within financial restraints

- Work closely with the social secretary, event organiser, and the competitions officer
