Hi everyone! I’m Francesca and I am studying Economics and Finance. The role of Korfball’s Vice-President is the ideal opportunity for me to apply my leadership skills and contribute to an inclusive and enthusiastic environment at the club.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year as part of the Korfball society as I have loved making new friends and gaining confidence. When joining university, I thought I would be too scared to even join a society, but now less than a year later I’m applying to be on the committee! I would love the opportunity to help others in the club enjoy Korfball as much as I have in the last year.

As a passionate member of the society, I believe I am well-suited to take on the responsibilities of Vice-President as I would bring dedication and teamwork. If I were to become Vice-President, I would be eager to collaborate with the committee and other members, while supporting the President. As Deputy Head Student at my school, I learned how to balance responsibilities with academic studies, which would be a crucial skill for Korfball’s Vice-President, while also evolving leadership and communication skills. I would like to think of myself as very organised and as having a keen eye for detail, so I would fulfil this role with passion and care. I am excited about this opportunity to contribute to the experience of the society and support its growth and accessibility.

I would love to carry out this role, and I would be honoured to take on this responsibility to aid the club’s success.
