Brothers' Prayer Spaces Manager:
The Brothers' Prayer Spaces Manager will work as part of the Prayer Spaces team alongside the Sisters' Prayer Spaces Manager and under the guidance of the Treasurer.
The Prayer Spaces Team shall be responsible for:
a. Ensuring the Green Room and Cemetery Lodge Prayer Spaces, which are under the direct care of ISoc, are kept clean and maintained properly. This involves managing and regularly taking care of the prayer area, kitchen and wudhu facilities for Muslims on campus;
b. Liaising with estates to ensure the smooth running, and redevelopment/renovating where necessary, of the Cemetery Lodge Prayer Spaces;
c. Ensuring the Green Room and Cemetery Lodge Policies are adhered to by the users of these two facilities;
d. Liaising with the university and the union for the regular maintenance of other prayer spaces on campus, and the
e. Organisation and managing of regular Iftars in the Green Room during and outside of Ramadhan.
The Treasurer will decide on who will take the lead on each area of responsibility having consulted the Prayer Spaces Team
