Asslam o Alaikom. My name is Areesha and I am a first year Graphic and Communication design student. The reasons for my application of the publicity officer role is firstly because being able to contribute to an organisation that brings muslims closer to their religion and Allah is one of the most desirable things to do and would be such a beautiful way to use the time and opportunities that Allah has blessed me with in the correct manner. Secondly, as I am a graphic design student and would like to work in the field of advertisement, marketing, and media, this would help me gain experience for my interested career path. I also like how this is a team role which mirrors what actual work life would be like so it provides me with a more realistic expectation of how work is actually like compared to the individual work I do in my course. I could use my knowledge that I have learnt from my course into this role and similarly use the experience I gain from this role to influence my work alongside having a better understanding of a putting out work for a specific audience. This role would have a strong connection to me in both deen and dunya, and being bale to merge both into one role would be the ideal way to play my part as a muslim in this world. Thank you!
