Welfare Officer & General Secretary

Be a center of support for any member that needs it - act as a point of contact for anyone seeking well-being support
Create and regularly monitor the well-being feedback forms
Attend classes regularly so that members feel more comfortable approaching you for support
Organise at least two fundraisers a year
Organise socials specifically around wellbeing or a charitable event e.g. International Women's Day Social
Organise inclusive sessions e.g. International Women's Day class, Krav Maga class specifically for a certain group (e.g. School of Psychology)
Support the committee with any stresses or worries they may have
Ensure that the appropriate actions are taken in dealing with well-being issues in accordance with LUU safeguarding and wellbeing policies
Attend the relevant LUU trainining
As General Secretary: Support the social media officer and secretary on social media and mailbox management, as well as helping committee with admin tasks when needed.
