Hi everyone! 👋

I'm Vriti, and I'll be starting my second year of Computer Science this September. I'm excited to be running for Social Media & Design Officer for AISoc!

One of the highlights of my first year was taking part in AI in the Box. It was such a fun experience, and seeing everyone's creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm made me want to get more involved with the society. I'd love the opportunity to help showcase that same energy through engaging content and thoughtful design.

Here's why I'm running:

🎨 Creative and consistent design

I want to create clean, modern, and eye-catching posters and graphics that reflect AISoc's identity and get people excited for every event.

📱 Keeping everyone in the loop

From event announcements and reminders to workshop highlights and LinkedIn updates, I'll make sure our social media is active, informative, and easy to follow. I'll also use stories, polls, and Q&As so members can share ideas and feedback.

📸 Capturing the best moments

Every event has great moments that deserve to be remembered. I'll make sure they're captured through high-quality photos, videos, and recap posts that celebrate both our events and our community.

🚀 Helping AISoc grow

Great content does more than advertise events—it builds a community. My goal is to create social media that people genuinely enjoy seeing on their feed and that encourages more students to get involved with AISoc.

If elected, I'll work hard to make AISoc's social media creative, professional, and engaging while staying true to the society's identity.

Firstly, I’m running for Social Media Officer because… well, I have done it in the past! I’ve already been Social Media Officer for the Charles Morris Committee (2025/26) ✨, where our work was strong enough to get shortlisted for Best Social Committee and Inclusive Community Award!

Through Instagram stories, I’ll host polls, Q&As, and feedback requests, meaning you will have direct influence over events! Your ideas won’t disappear into a void; they will be collected and relayed to the other committee members! This is democracy, and I am handing you the ballot box 🗳️!

Thirdly, I am known to be a very responsive texter📱! You can expect timely, reliable replies to all DM messages any day of the week! Whether you have a quick question or a genuine concern, you will never feel ignored, for when you reach out, I will be present, attentive, and ready to help.

Fourthly, I am an excellent photographer 📸, offering to take high-quality and genuinely good photos of you and your friends during events and socials! On the following day these photos will be uploaded to a google drive you can access, allowing you to relive those memories and share them on your own social media pages!

Fifthly, I will populating the Instagram page with informative, engaging and educational posts and reels!
