The Mentoring Scheme Director runs our award-winning Mentoring Scheme! There are a few main responsibilities that come with the role, including:

• Creating and maintaining an up to date database of first-year work experience opportunities to be shared with members of the Academy
• Overseeing the running of the Mentoring Scheme
• Recruiting mentors and mentees and match them based on their similar career interests
• Providing mentors with guidance and assistance for their role.
• Organising mentoring scheme mixers and social events.
• Being the point of contact with the University Careers Centre, frequently corresponding about employer opportunities and sharing these with members
• Reporting regularly to the President and other committee members on your activities.
