My name is Mrittika (aka Mikki)! I am currently a First year Business Management student.

I'm excited to throw my hat into the ring for the position of Events and Social Director. While I may be vertically challenged, I assure you, my enthusiasm for creating memorable events knows no bounds!

As someone with curly hair, I understand the twists and turns of event planning. Just as my curls have a mind of their own, I believe in embracing spontaneity and creativity to curate social events that resonate with our members.

Now, let's talk about the role. From organizing the quirkiest of social gatherings to coordinating with the committee, I'm committed to ensuring every event we host is a smashing success. Whether it's a business networking soirée or a casual meet-up, I'll ensure it's as well-coordinated as my curls on a good hair day!

Hi WILS members :) I’m Julie Anne Dela Cruz and I’m a penultimate year Business Management student currently undertaking a Marketing Placement at Box. I have been an active member of WILS for the past three years and I’ve cherished every moment. WILS has been a fulfilling and supportive community that has shaped both my personal and professional development, and I hope to pass this on to current and future members.

With a deep passion for fostering women's leadership and empowerment, I believe I am well-suited for the role of Events Director. My strong adaptable and organisation skills, coupled with my creative approach to event planning, makes me an ideal candidate to curate engaging and impactful events that will inspire and empower members of WILS.

I'm committed to crafting events that resonate with our audience and promote meaningful connections and growth within our community. Collaborating closely with the WILS Secretary, I've already helped organise successful events like the Box Office Visit and "How to Better Your Career in Marketing and Tech" Panel, drawing in 20 attendees from multiple universities. Drawing from my experiences at Box and Creatives Calendar, I aim to bring valuable insights and resources to our members through professional development workshops with industry leaders like Box, AstraZeneca, OpenAI, The North Face and much more!

Moreover, I'm excited to infuse creativity into our events by organising inclusive activities such as wellness yoga sessions, meditation workshops, candle painting, bingo nights, and more. I'm also dedicated to fostering connections beyond our society by collaborating with other societies and universities to create a vibrant network of empowered women. From university mixers to collaborative balls, I envision opportunities for peer-to-peer networking and support from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
