Hi, my name's Gabrielle and I'm running to be the Senior Editor for the Her Campus Committee 2025/26! I've loved being part of Her Campus for the past three years, the friendly and comforting environment is one of my favourite things about the society (it's why I keep coming back every year) and I hope to protect this by ensuring it continues to be an inclusive, welcoming space.

If elected as your next senior editor, I will strive to work with the other committee members to maintain this environment. I believe we can do this by making sure that everyone continues to feel welcome and able to pitch new ideas during our newsrooms, and that writers, editors and social media content creators feel supported through collaborative sessions where we can work together in an alcohol-free setting. These sessions could provide an alternative social setting where members who don't drink or would prefer an alcohol-free social feel welcome and included!

I'm a very friendly person, I love meeting and getting to know new people and, although I haven't been very involved in socials in the past, I'd love to participate in these events more and meet more of the amazing Her Campus members.

I have enjoyed being a member of Her Campus at Leeds since first year and would love the opportunity to be on the committee again next year as Senior Editor.
I am a very organised and motivated person who will dedicate lots of time to the frequent scheduling and editing of articles, along with newsrooms.
Some of my goals as Senior Editor would be to continue with the current work on the Her Campus physical copy, suggest more reviewing and interviewing opportunities, promote collaborative columns, and maintain regular newsrooms :)
