I was very excited when I saw an email saying someone has nominated me for activities exec and, after reading a little more about the role, there was no way I wasn't going to put my name forward!
Being part of Leeds Marrow has given me a glimps at the amazing work of the volunteering societies at LUU. I know how hard every single volunteer works and, if elected, I would work my hardest to listen to all your idea, concerns and thoughts and present them to LUU on your behalf. I will help every single society from the biggest to the smallest and help ensure grants are distributed fairly- I know how vital these can be to the running of volunteering societies!
I am a natural leader and especially enjoy organising events! I already have ideas of events I could put on for all the volunteering socities but would love to hear all your creative ideas and give all societies a chance to fundraise/ raise awareness for your amazing causes!
I know I have the skills and the passion to represent volunteering societies as part of the activities exec and really hope ypu will vote for me!!
P.S. you should also look into signing up for the stem cell register if you're not already ;)
