Hello everyone,

My name is Krish and I'm a third year medical student with a fervent passion for elevating our Endosoc to unprecedented heights! As your potential president, I am committed to steering our society towards a future filled with innovation, inclusivity and invaluable learning experiences.

Drawing upon my experience as the vice president of GP society, having worked on medical committees before, as well as having been deputy head of my school in charge of leading service and outreach projects, I believe I can foster a vibrant fun community which hopefully everyone partaking in can benefit from.

Here is why you should entrust me with the responsibility:

1) Interactive learning sessions - Gone are the days of passive lectures. I pledge to introduce engaging, interactive sessions that challenge and inspire us to delve deeper into the intracies of endocrinology and general medicine (aiming to be a super revision aid for exams and for those with an interest in the field).

2) Real-life Perspectives - endocrinology is a really interesting field. I am a strong believer that seeing real patients who can narrate their own accounts of living with fascinating rare conditions like acromegaly to commoner conditions that have a widespread affect on our communities like diabetes can make learning so much more memerable. I will also strive to bring in accredited guest speakers to deliver talks and provide great networking opportunities.

3) Practical workshops - from mock OSCEs to hands on workshops, I envision a calendar packed with opportunities to sharpen our clinical skills.

4) Online teaching series - focusing on mla conditions for exams and posting daily interactive content for revision on our instagram page.

5) Inclusive and fun environment - learning thrives in an atmosphere of camaraderie and inclusivity. Through social events, community outreach, and a welcoming culture, I aim to make our society a home away from home for all!

After a year on EndoSoc as the events coordinator, it would mean so much to me to be president as this is a field I am incredibly passionate about as a future career!

I endeavour to put together EndoSoc’s first ever annual conference, and provide new and exciting in-person events for students exploring the cutting edge work of this fascinating field! Alongside this, I would like to organise society socials, and make our first ever merch.

A key value of EndoSoc is providing education to all, and it would be my mission to continue the fantastic educational events of this past year through to the next, as well as put a focus on online learning resources and a mock OSCE!
