I would like to apply to be a Clinical Rep for Endocrinology Society because of my curiosity for the specialty. Endocrinology is a vast field of study that allows for extensive links to be drawn between not only organs, but whole organ systems. The pathophysiology of endocrinology interests me due to its ability to be simultaneously intricate and logical. A thorough understanding of basic endocrinology is essential in order to grasp the mechanisms behind disease and its treatment, and so I am excited to potentially learn more about this through this role. If selected, I am looking forward to working alongside the other committee members to come up with new ideas and promote the society and its future events.

Hi everyone! I am Paria, an incoming third-year medical student passionate about the ever-evolving field of Endocrinology and its holistic approach to patient care. I would love to use my interest in the specialty and my experience to enhance engagement within the clinical years, working with the committee to create new events for our peers.
As a GCSE and A-level tutor in multiple subjects, I have developed strong communication and organisational skills that I can bring to this role. My achievement of the SSAT Gold Student Leadership Accreditation Award has solidified the skills necessary to effectively represent you as your Clinical Rep. By helping maintain an inclusive and supportive environment, I aim to encourage more students to join our society and participate in our events.
