Hi, I am Ellen and I’m currently a fourth year medic! I really enjoyed my ophthalmology placement last year and it has since sparked my interest in this speciality. Therefore I’m hoping to learn more about ophthalmology as a speciality through being part of the committee, and getting involved with the events! I have experience of being a treasurer (last year I was treasure of LUCCMT) so I understand what the role entails and feel prepared. I am organised and enthusiastic, and would be very happy to share the workload of other committee members to help out the team. I’m really excited for the events this year and I hopefully will involved in the running of some of them!
