My name is Rahaf, and I’m excited to be running for Media Secretary of the Sudanese Society.
This year, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as the Events Secretary, where I helped plan and support some of our biggest and most memorable events.
I brought my professional camera to almost every event, capturing moments that celebrate our community and culture. I can also use Canva to design posters that are clear, engaging, and tailored to our audience, that can help boost engagement and reach new members. I have a strong eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a real passion for showcasing what makes our society so special.
As Media Secretary, I’ll work to create content that’s not only beautiful and creative, but also informative and consistent. I want our platforms to reflect the heart of our society, while helping more people feel welcomed, included, and excited to get involved.

Hi everyone! I’m Ereena, and I am running for Media Secretary for the Sudanese Society!

As the current Sponsorship Secretary, I’ve worked directly with the brands and companies that sponsor us, so I understand exactly how they want to be represented and advertised. I’ve helped created Instagram posts for the sponsors and engaging TikToks for them already. I am confident in using tools like Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe to ensure everything is polished, professional, and consistent.

Balancing this role alongside being a Student Ambassador, part of the Negotiating Sub-Committee, and having part-time work has made me highly organised and efficient. I plan to bring this same energy into the Media Secretary role by continuing to grow our online presence, collaborating with other societies, and creating content that celebrates and amplifies Sudanese culture.

Even though I’m not Sudanese myself, I’ve truly immersed myself in the society and I care deeply about its success.
