The Treasurer is primarily in charge of the society's finances, and will thus require an eye for detail when it comes to calculating costs. On top of this, the Treasurer will need to research and calculate the cost of resources for events, process any expenses on Engage, come up with ideas for fundraising and apply for any grants if need be, though this will be completely collaboratively with the committee. With this in mind, the Treasurer needs to have a realistic mindset when it comes to budgeting, be highly organised, an effective communicator and will need to be able to calculate costs accurately.
