It is your job to communicate with industry – Engineering companies. Organising site visits and industrial talks and events (teaming up with the social sec). If you go to Prof Basheer you should get some funding from the School for such events as they want more of them!

So, over summer email loads of companies and see if a potential partnership is on the table. You could also ask for sponsorship for specific events. Remember to keep up contact and invite them to any event they might sponsor. Sponsorship email templates and contracts can be found in the Dropbox.

It’s usually pretty hard to get sponsorship, but it is relatively easy to team up and do an industrial event!

Remember to get as much done as you can over summer.
