Hey! I'm Eliza and I'm hoping to join the committee team for the 2024/25 year as an assistant general secretary. I will be in my third year of studying Art and Design and I would love to help out with running life drawing sessions as I have really enjoyed taking part during the last two years.
As assistant general secretary, I would ensure each session runs smoothly, helping whenever I can so that our model/s is comfortable and everyone in the room enjoys the activity. Maintaining the inclusive and welcoming, chilled atmosphere of the art society is really important to me so that everyone can have a good time and leave feeling refreshed and ready for whatever the rest of their evening holds!

Hiya! I’m Molly Harris, a first-year natural sciences student. Attending life drawing this year amongst other art society events has allowed me to have a creative outlet outside of my studies. Every Wednesday at 15:57 my alarm pops up reminding me to rush to engage to buy my ticket for the next Tuesdays life drawing session. I’ve loved the calm creative energy in the room created by great music and even better company. If I were to be elected to run these sessions I would like to:
- Host more themed sessions as I’ve found those sessions in particular this past year have helped me express myself more through my drawing.
- Allow for song/artist suggestions to be made for more variety in the playlist.
- Maintain the spirit and inclusivity of life drawing.

Hi I'm Maya, a first year biologist running for assistant general secretary. I'm interested in running life drawing session as this is something I have enjoyed taking part in throughout the year. I find life drawing to be a freeing and relaxed part of my week and would want to continue to provide a laid back and welcoming atmosphere for others. This means good music and ensuring that models feel comfortable throughout the session. I'm most excited to work as with the rest of the committee particularly to run themed sessions allowing participants to explore new media or to use interesting set ups or lighting. My name is Enya Budd and I am a 2nd year Sustainability and Environmental Management student. I am a current Assistant General Secretary for Life Drawing and would love to carry on in this position in my 3rd year. I love running the event, and especially love to continue with my hobby of art every week :)
