I started making art during the pandemic lockdown, and since then I have come so far. I've experimented with so many different forms of art, from oil paintings, to print-making, to mixed-media videos. As a treasurer, I am confident that my strong resourcefulness and time-management skills will be valuable assets. This year I have sincerely enjoyed going to the art workshops and life-drawings, and I would love the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of these projects.

Hi, nice to meet you! My name's Ariana, but you can call me Ari :) I'm a second year law and languages student, and I've been crazy about art since I was a little kid. I joined ArtSoc after years of not drawing due to an injury, and it's such a source of peace and joy in my life. With that in mind, I'm running for the position of treasurer because I want to make ArtSoc as accessible as possible to new and old members alike. Everybody deserves to experience the peace of mind and self-expression that art brings, so it's my goal to make ArtSoc events affordable for everyone, whether it's a fancy ball or a casual sip and draw session. My past experience in financial planning and record-keeping positions will make this an achievable goal for our society, and introducing fundraising events like art stall sales and portrait commissions can contribute to reducing ticket prices for the big social events of the year. Plus, we can make sure your voices are heard by opening up opportunities for members' feedback on prices and accessibility.
