Hey guys, here are some of the reasons i think i would fit this role :) I wanna start by saying this would not be my first time being in-charge of managing a social media platform. An example would be my internship at Rex Solar Energys’ ( a solar power company back home) social platforms which took a lot of consistency and commitment. Additionally, I have also been in charge of creating social media posts for a peer and partnership with the UNHCR Refugees organization in Tanzania. I want this prior experience to show I'm aware of what it takes to keep up a constant social media presence, and that I will be able to do this role with high quality. These two experiences went beyond just posting Instagram posts I was heavily involved in website management and learning more about how to create a brand image. Currently, I'm studying marketing which means I can translate what I’ve been taught and try to apply my learning when in this position. I think social media is an important tool in communicating with the public, but also creating a sense of community within the basketball team through the narrative that is put out. Rest assured that the professionalism of the society's social media platforms will be maintained as I know first know its significance xx
