The fundraising secretary is responsible for organising fundraising events and initiatives to support both the society and chosen charities. They play a key role in ensuring the society can continue offering great opportunities while also contributing to important causes.  

Key responsibilities:  
- Planning and organising fundraising events throughout the year  
- Researching and selecting charities or causes to support  
- Working with the treasurer to manage fundraising income  
- Collaborating with other committee members and societies on fundraising initiatives  
- Promoting fundraising efforts and encouraging member participation
