Hey KDS! I'm Sadie and I'm running for Tech Officer for 24/25! Some people may recognise me as the girl who knows all the Stray Kids songs (I've been told this multiple times haha) Whilst this is definitely true, I'm also a 1st Year Mathematics student! I've been dancing pretty much my entire life, starting with ballet, tap and musical theatre, so it made sense that the thing that got me into kpop was the dancing! I've truly enjoyed my time in KDS so much already this year and would love to continue that joy as a committee member next year!

Back in 2020-22 I helped run a fairly big discord server with some friends and still run a smaller one to this day! That means I am pretty familiar with everything that goes into maintaining a server and hope to breathe some new life into the KDS Discord! Keeping it up to date and creating new spaces for members to chat some more!

I also have experience editing music and videos as I was in charge of that not only for my High School Dance Show (as one of the people who choreographed) but also for my old Dance School too!

I love to throw myself into new challenges and opportunities and being on committee would be amazing! Sooooooo...

Hi Hello! I am Mariah, and I am running to be KDS' Tech Officer for the next year academic year :) I am an undergraduate law student and it is my second year here in Leeds. I've been part of KDS since 2022- I have met some incredible people and made many fond memories! Few of my favourite artists are DPR IAN, Stray Kids & Day6!

From learning dances at weekly tutorials to connecting with different members over our love for k-pop, I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member of KDS for the last 2 years. This also allowed me to see and observe the last 2 KDS committees in action, which helped me learn about how different positions in the committe help run the society and the responsibilities that come with it. I want to work behind the scenes and contribute more towards running the society next year, which is what motivated me to run for Tech Officer.

Over the years, I have gained several skills and invaluable experiences, all of which make me a suitible candidate to run for this position. I have experiences in Photography and Videography as well as Editing. These experiences go hand in hand- I always enjoyed capturing different moments through a lens and what started off as a hobby led me to participate in events and competitions!

I love talking to & meeting new people! My extroverted personality has allowed me to connect well with people by being an attentive & active listener. Participating in several group projects and working with multiple people at once has also greatly improved my skills such as my team work and planning- I can confidently facilitate group discussions to ensure everyone is heard!

As your Tech Officer, I would:
1. Help members with recording & editing their dance videos- By doing so I hope to encourage more members to create dance videos while also making more memories!
2. Continue maintaining the KDS Discord Server by actively posting updates and polls!
3. Ensure our Youtube Channel is up to date with our members' latest covers and KDS events (ex. RPD).
4. Get more feedback from members to improve technical aspects of our society by working alongside other committee members.

Hello everyone! I am Gina~ I am highly honored to be running for the position of Tech Officer in our society. As a member of KDS and a K-pop enthusiast, I believe I possess the necessary skills and passion to impact our society positively.

Why choose me? Firstly, due to my love for idols, I have frequently edited videos for them and managed reaction accounts on social media. This has made me familiar with various editing tools and made me capable of ensuring that music and video editing processes run smoothly. Secondly, because of my love for photography, my friends are willing and have praised my photo-taking skills, including video recording. Lastly, I will do my utmost to manage the operation of Discord efficiently.

What will I do? First, I will meticulously edit the music for our weekly RPD. Second, through my experience, I will strive to manage YouTube and Discord social media platforms, providing technical help and resources to our members and ensuring that every member can participate smoothly in online and live events.
