Hey! I am Eloise a First Year Journalism Student from Essex who has been writing for Her Campus throughout the year.

I would treasure the opportunity to be the secretary of Her Campus as although I have been a member of the society for the past year, I really would love to be more involved as due to being quite shy with new people, I have held myself back and not participated as much as I would have liked to. However, I believe that being on the committee for Her Campus will really help me to achieve my wishes of meeting new people and being more confident! Moreover, I feel as if this role would provide me with the balance to be able to continue writing articles for Her Campus (whether that is addressing pressing issues in society, or even just writing about current affairs) as well as being part of the committee.

As an extremely organised individual (I literally have a list for everything lol) with brilliant time management skills, I think that my skills would aid the society greatly especially for helping at events such as the freshers fair and generally helping to run the society. Also, I would love to be simply a face that members can approach if they feel they need help or advice, not only with their articles but with general life or uni issues too!

Ultimately, it would be an honour to be the secretary of a society that produces such creative and passionate content by the most empowering women on campus!
