Hi I’m Evelyn and I’m really excited to be running for ceilidh coordinator!

I have plenty of event planning experience, having successfully organised two school proms, managing everything from logistics to budgeting. I’ve also arranged several formal events with cadets, developing my ability to work with a range of businesses and handle any last minute problems. All in all, I have a solid foundation in all the skills that are necessary to plan ceilidhs to be both smooth-running and enjoyable.

More than anything, I’m passionate about keeping the social spirit alive in every event we run. I’d make it my mission to keep our ceilidhs fun, welcoming, and inclusive, while staying true to the traditions that make them so unique.

Whether it’s picking the perfect band, or setting a great atmosphere, I’ll bring lots of enthusiasm, creativity, and a real love for Scottish culture to the role.

Hi All!

My name is Finn. I am currently in second year studying law. I used to live in Scotland and really miss it, so joining Calsoc has just been brilliant.

I’m running to be your Ceilidh Coordinator because I genuinely love the buzz of a great ceilidh, the music, the movement, the community chaos and I want to help make next year’s even bigger, better, and smoother than ever.

I’ve got solid experience organising events: I’ve chaired student societies, run socials, and coordinated big group meetups, so I know how to juggle logistics, manage communications, and keep things running to time. I’m organised, reliable, and always up for pushing to put on something better than anyone can even imagine.

If you vote for me, I’ll give it everything I’ve got, and make sure our ceilidhs stay a highlight of the uni calendar.
