If I were Social Sec, I would organise (super) fun, exciting and regular socials which would aim to include and encourage everyone even if you’re not in any productions. I’m an excellent party planner and have held some very successful parties in my tiny accom kitchen! I’m also a keen Photographer so will do Headshots & Show Photos for productions! (plus great digi cam pics from socials!). I Co-produced ‘After Life’ & did some Content Producing & Photography for Dance Nation.

Hi, I'm Jake and I am running to be social sec for next year. I have always had a passion for performing and theatre, and being a part of TG at Leeds made the start of my uni experience so much better. I found that this society was a great place to meet new people with shared interests and passions, with socials being the perfect opportunity to do this. I am running for social sec as I believe it is a very important part of TG and as it was the first part of TG I engaged with I think we need to maintain a variety of socials so that new and existing members can have the same positive experience I have had. If I were to be a social sec I would want to provide more variety in the socials we do, for example, society dinners, trips to see shows, and secret socials. I would also want to provide more sober socials with an activity focus, like games nights or bowling. As Leeds has so much to offer I think we can put on a great year of socials with the whole society, and I am very excited for this opportunity to become a part of committee.

As it says on my poster, please re-elect me for social secretary so I work with a social sec partner to take steps to make TG even more social as a society.
