Hi! I am Katy and this academic year I have been involved with TG in two productions as well as attending many events. TG has been so important to my time at Leeds and I want to make everyone's experience in the society as positive as possible. I think welfare is so important especially in a collaborative society, therefore I want to contribute to maintaining a respectful and healthy environment where members know there is always someone they can talk to.

Hey! My name is Lucy, and I'm running to be your Welfare Rep. Having only been involved with one show with TG this year, I really valued the strong, inclusive and supportive committee, I would love to be able to become a part of this and engage with new and current members of TG. I'm passionate about creating a society where everyone feels valued and heard, and I would be excited about the opportunity to contribute to that as your Welfare Rep.

Hello gorgeous TG humans!! My name’s Ella, I’m a second year medical student and I would absolutely love to be Theatre groups next Welfare Officer. I’m fairly new to TG but already it’s brought me so much joy, amazing experience and wonderful friends. I would love to be a part of the committee and continue the great work of such a welcoming community. I’d be a great Welfare Officer because I bring my organisation skills (medical student perks!) and existing knowledge of sensitive topics from my course to the table. I want to work in healthcare because I’m passionate about responding to people’s problems with care and respect. My whole life people have come to me with their worries, most often my mates but sometimes strangers too (me and my friends often joke about these encounters as they happen surprisingly often and are usually a bit strange). I like to think it’s because I’m welcoming and easy to talk to, not because I seem strange myself; though maybe I am a little! I’m right for this role because I’m an open and talkative person, with a good social awareness, who finds it easy to chat to anyone. So with the skills and enthusiasm needed, I’d love to be your new Welfare Officer. Love, Ella x
