You will be in charge of all the kit that the club uses. This means organising and distributing everything that is in the shed. The main part of this role will be giving out pads and helmet to all members, keeping track of who has what and then collecting it back at the end of the year. On top of this you also have to ensure people bring kit to training, match day kit and jersey allocation. The main skill needed is organisation as it's really important to keep on top of everything throughout the year. This can be made easier if you are organised right from the start. You will also have to take initiative at some points in reallocation of kit or jerseys and making sure it is sorted quickly. On match days and especially ones at home you will likely be working closely with the match day sec to ensure they know what jersey number everyone has and that all the kit makes it’s way to west park. This year the role has really been about micromanaging kit to make sure everyone has enough to play despite the surplus of members to kit most of the year. This is really dependent on the intake for if this will be a recurring problem into next year. If you are an organised person who is proficient at using spreadsheets or whatever other tools to keep on top of things you won’t struggle too much and you’ll be a key part in helping the club run!
