Notes from previous secretary (Janis): 

As a Secretary in LUUMIC, we take responsibility for all the admin and documents needed to run the society. For example, writing meeting agendas and minutes, liaising with the LUU for room bookings, replying to emails, assisting members in their DBS checks, etc. If you are a person who is well organised and friendly, this role is for you! Being a Secretary has helped me to build up my communication skills, time management, and last but not least, leadership skills. 

Besides that, you will get a chance to lead your projects too! One of my favourite projects was with the Refugee Council where we get to visit the refugee accommodations to play music with them. It was a very fruitful and fun time and all our volunteers enjoyed themselves.
