The Newsletter Editor supports the society in maintaining email communications with members via monthly Newsletter updates by working closely with the Event Directors, Inclusion Officer and PostGraduate Officer! There are a few main responsibilities that come with the role of the Newsletter Editor, including:
- Being responsible for mass email communications with members such as the weekly and monthly newsletter.
- Compiling monthly updates from various event directors regarding developments and how WILS involvement in their respective area
- Collaborating with the Social Media Director and the Social Secretary to advertise upcoming WILS events
- Coming up with innovative new features for the newsletter
- Reporting regularly to the President and other committee members on your activities.
