The Inclusion Officer takes a very big impact on how inclusion is seen in companies and societies. There are a few main responsibilities that come with the role of the Inclusion Officer, including:

- Acting as a support network for society and committee members, facing any issues of inclusion and equality

- Coordinating campaigns that make students of all genders, abilities, classes, ages, beliefs, races, cultures, sexualities feel celebrated, welcome and allied

- Making sure all events, partnerships and other activities of the society align with all students and are not disrespecting to anyone in any sense

- Listening to students of diverse backgrounds directly regarding their concerns on inclusion and their equal access to resources and workplaces

- Suggesting to our sponsors and partners how they can become more inclusive

- Organising events that broad the awareness on what students experience and how everyone can become a better ally

- Ensuring you work with the social sec to balance non-drinking socials with drinking ones. There should never be not a 50:50 ratio on drinking and non-drinking based socials. A social calendar should be designed and provided to members that clearly details which socials are alcohol and non-alcohol based

- Working with other committee members when running events and with the social sec to include commuter students e.g., commuter specific events run during the day rather than in the evenings
