The Postgraduate Officer at WILS plays an important role in supporting WILS members who are PHD and masters students on campus. There are a few main responsibilities that come with the role of the Postgraduate Officer, including:

- Targeting female PHD and masters students on campus

- Engaging and growing WILS membership numbers in those who are studying PHD and masters degree

- Creating events that are suitable for PHD and masters students

- Liaising their concerns about postgraduate careers across industries

- Ensuring that WILS events can be better aligned with the postgraduate schedule in general

- Working closely with the various event directors in creating careers based events
