These last few months finding my feet as events officer have been a blast, and it's been lovely to host some awesome events and get to know you all! I feel that I’m just getting started with all things events, and have lots of great ideas for the coming year to welcome in the new cohort of members.
If I am re-elected you can expect to see a return of some of this semester's classics, as well as many new ideas! First, I'd like to organise society trips to other fundraisers and shows going on in the union - showing some love to our fellow societies (and opening up more collaboration potential). I'd also like to host more daytime events, especially whilst we still have light after spring break and next September. We have enough late nights as a society already! Finally, for some new potential events in the coming months…

Backstage Eurovision (May 14th) - we all get together for an evening to watch this year's Eurovision! Complete with Eurovision bingo and a big buffet dinner.

Backstage Board Games +D&D Special (TBD) - Another board games night, with all the same games as usual, but with one extra for those who wish to brave it… I’ll break out the books to run a crazy one-shot D&D session for anyone who’s up for it - whether you’re a true dice goblin or total newbie!

Backstage Big Summer Bash (July/September) - a lovely picnic on Woodhouse Moor with drinks, snacks, and party games.
