Being part of Thai Soc’s committee as an Events Manager has given me opportunities to create successful events and step up as a leader. Therefore, I believe the President position is the most suitable for me.

As a dedicated student pursuing a Music with Enterprise degree, I understand the importance of responsibility, commitment and an understanding of people’s wants and needs.

In addition to my studies, I serve as a course representative for the School of Music, ensuring that the voices of my coursemates are heard and their needs are addressed. My leadership experience traces back to my time as a Prefect during my final year in secondary school, which has equipped me with valuable skills in organisation, communication and teamwork.

I will become the bridge that connects Thai students in Thailand and the UK, and those in between. My goal is to create a fun and interactive space for Thais to gather and make friends, as well as allow those who are interested in Thai culture to experience our activities.

On top of this, I understand the crucial job of overseeing the society’s activity and providing support and guidance to fellow committee members. I will make sure to enable fair decision-making during meetings and act as the main point of contact between the society and LUU. In addition to this, I have strong connections with LUU, professionals and musical bands in Leeds and beyond, meaning the possibilities for a successful society are endless.
