Hi! My name is Suwetha and I am a third year medical student and I am hoping to be president of Tamil society next year. I have been the secretary for the past two years and I am hoping to elevate the society to the next level next year and make it bigger and better.
We have had many successful events this past year and some of my personal highlights include our clubbing nights, deepavali and the dance workshops for world unite festival. This year we have been able to have a combination of cultural events and club nights which has really helped to grow the society and I intend to improve on this further next year and bring in some new ideas and bigger events!
I look forward to meeting you all next year and thank you for reading my statement and poster!

I believe that as president I bring more opportunities for the society to come together and also bring other societies to run bigger events such as a take me outs and bigger clubbing and games nights. Also would like to do more football sessions and tournaments to involve more Unis and bring more attention to the Leeds Tsoc. Would also be very eager to hear any suggestions from people in the society about what we could bring into Tsoc.
