Social Media and Marketing Secretary 

*We request that final year students don’t apply for this role* 

• Posting to the social media accounts 
• Liaising with local companies to advertise events 
• Creating engaging advertising material for a range of mediums. 
• Ensure the society members are kept up to date with events and gigs 
• Working closely with Treasurer to finance advertising. 
• Working closely with Secretary to ensure events aren’t double booked and don’t clash with other events happening in the city. 
• Working closely with the Events Officers to ensure all events are advertised. 
• Ensuring all messages are responded to in a reasonable amount of time 

This role is perfect for creative people who have a passion for marketing and social media. You will be responsible for the social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram) and ensuring all posts are appropriate and on time. You will need to create advertising/promotional material for all events and anything else which is necessary. You will be in regular contact with LUU Events & Activities, The Key Club, and lots of other local companies.
